Is Google Hotpot the answer?  I think Google has something with this one.  An easy way to review and rate businesses you’ve been in contact with in your local area.  All of us have been disappointed, but that disappointment can be felt by fewer people in your circle of friends if you just let them know about it! I have yet to figure out all of the features but I sure hope Google gets an idea of what businesses/restaurants that I like so they can send more places I’ve never been to that I might like.  Internet marketers everywhere are wondering what this means for the local search results, and to tell the truth we don’t know yet.  It may affect search results, and it may just make the user experience better without affecting search results directly.

To sum it up – Some are saying that Google Hotpot is “Yelp Meets Netflix in a Local Recommendation Engine”.  Need I say more?
